Note: There is a long standing demand for Bundelkhand state but it has been turned down on the basis of lack of resources in the Bundelkhand region. If we include the Baghelkhand region in this proposed state than it can form a viable state. Even two separate states of Bundelkhand (Gwalior, Sagar, Chambal, Jhansi, Chitrakoot divisions) and Baghelkhand can be formed.
