Promise of Reason

This is a long emotional article, so read carefully and only when you have time, otherwise bookmark it and read when you are in position to think.

Are left parties traitors? Is congress is working for what is best for US, not what is best for India? Whether RSS is a terrorist organization? Is BJP trying to promote the communal ideals? Is protest in Gorkhaland, Mumbai, Rajasthan unpatriotic? I come across these questions and comments at online blogs, in speeches of leaders and even in books. I wrote sometimes back about how people in democracies, especially in India keep complaining and blaming politics for everything wrong in their life. We should look inside ourselves and think if we are doing our own part in this complex political process. You must have heard “Be the change, you want to see in the world” and “Don’t ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for country” blah-blah. Let us leave those great people at rest for some time and figure out what we can do for this democracy in our own little ways.
